Anthony Campos, a graduate of Texas A&M University, began his professional career as a Loan Review Analyst for Commerce Bank. After his time in banking and a 5-year stint as a teacher At United High School in Laredo, a move to the Rio Grande Valley led him to a teaching position at Johnny G. Economedes High School. He currently teaches AP Macroeconomics and is a perennial Regional UIL qualifier in Computer Applications. He also serves as Project Based Learning Coach and Lead teacher of the Early College/STEM program at Economedes High School in which he is tasked to train teachers in PBL and program blueprints. He was recently selected as Teacher of the Year for Economedes High School and is a finalist for the District Teacher of the Year for ECISD.
