Jaguar 11th graders get CPR Training
On May 7, 2015, all JEHS juniors participated in a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training as part of the new House Bill 5 curriculum graduation requirements for the state of Texas. Texas is among 17 states now requiring all high school students to complete CPR training before graduation. Cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death in the United States and by training students to be lifesavers in their own communities, we can double a victim’s survival rate.
