JEHS Students Earn Adobe Photoshop Certificates

Johnny Economedes High School had 16 students get certified in Adobe Photoshop.  The Adobe Certification allows a student to demonstrate proficiency in Adobe digital communications tools.  Also, it allows them to stand apart from their peers, boost their technology confidence, and expand their career opportunities.  All of these students started the class with little to no knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.   By the end of the semester of this South Texas College dual-enrollment class, they mastered it!  One of the students, Isai Martinez, went above and beyond and also challenged the Adobe Illustrator and passed that certification as well.  This class is under the umbrella of Edinburg CISD’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) program.  The Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator classes are taught by Mrs. Maria C. Salinas.  Pictured in the front row are: Cinthya Hernandez, Ibeth Martinez, Cristina Rosalez, Mariela Ruelas, Zulema Munoz, second row: Mrs. Maria Carmen Salinas, Noe Flores, Barbara Garcia, Olivia Huerta, Ricardo Arredondo, Noemi Garcia, Ricardo Cruz, and Top row: Isai Martinez, Alex Paz, Arturo Sanchez, Carlos Vela, and Geronimo Molina.
